NEW OWNER
BRADSHAW AND HIS INVESTORS TAKING OWNERSHIP OF THE SAINTS WOULD BE GREAT. AS LONG AS THE FRANCHISE STAYS IN N.O. MAYBE IF BENSON IS GONE THE CURSE WILL GO WITH HIM!!!!

RE: Re: NEW OWNER
Hey Bradshaw couldn't sell peanut butter, you actually think he'd be a good owner? Honestly anyone would be better than Bensen,,,,well maybe anyone except Red Combs.

RE: Re: NEW OWNER
Terry's favorite team is the Saints he makes no bones about it and making a suggestion like that I am sure Tag may even have called and asked him if he's serious. Because it was a bit of a shock but Hey I am all for it... someone who is from Louisiana and who loves the team. Put it on paper and lets do this already. I Seriously don't think the Saints will ever be an outdoor team. This Hurricane is a great example why the city needs a facility like the dome to protect citizens from hurricanes and levee breaks. such a struction is pricey so have to get some use out of it and housing a NFL team in it is good.

RE: Re: NEW OWNER
Bradshaw said it twice. The second time was during the half-time report for the Saints game. He said he was lacking cash, though. I imagine that their would be plenty of ways around that. Lets keep in mind that Bradshaw not only played, but was pretty successful in the NFL. He was also a quarterback...a legendary quarterback. The position which, besides a few exceptions (Manning), has plagued the Saints for years. And though he may not actually coach the quarterbacks, everything starts from the top. He would have complete say-so in who comes and goes.
The more I think about Bradshaw being the owner, the more I like it. I think Benson's time is up. |

This is good news. It would be great news if it were to happen. "PumpkinHead" (Bradshaw) could bring in some talent on both sides of the white lines(coaching and players). I am feeling ya oldies; the more I think about it, I LOVE IT!
