Well, at least he played more than one year at the highest college level, and has won a national title and the Heisman. He is a consensus number one pick, and is more NFL ready than any other QB in the draft. Next question.

Not only this draft, but last year, and the year before. I don't think I've seen a guy with this many positives since his predecessor. And we all see how he's doing this year.

That's why I'm really hard headed about aquiring a QB in the first round this year. It will take some years for anyone to adjust to the NFL at that position, and I would like to secure that spot on my roster as early as possible.

But with so many needs, would you sell the farm, if that were the case, to get him?

Would I be selling the farm if it came to my pick and he was still on the board. BPA, baby, BPA.

A point I've tried to make over and over... on deaf ears. What do we do in the mean-time? Keep Brooks or sign a veteran to keep us above water 'till the newbie gets his feet? I feel this is worth attention. Excuse me while I go out into my yard a scream.

Nope. But then again, that wasn't my question.

My answer to that question is in the other thread. You know, I have this thing about repeating myself.....

on deaf ears.
Not necessarily. Just because people may not have responded, does not mean that they were not in agreement. Unless I have something valuable to add, more than likely, I will be in silent agreement as well.

that wasn't my question.
Correct. If you are referring to trading up, then no, I've never been a fan. But I'm not all that concerned about the number of spots between the 1st pick and where the Saints pick, either
