Good News, Bad News
Sporting News Radio Flash is reporting that "the New Orleans Saints are ready to part ways with Aaron Brooks at the conclusion of the season". However, they are also reporting that the Texans are ready to do the same with David Carr, meaning they just became the front runner in the Lienart Sweepstakes.

...well, I don't know... I wouldn't mind seeing David Carr in B&G... I see him in a situation similar to the situation Kerry Collins was in Carolina... I've heard a couple of interviews, and he doesn't come out and say it, but the way he phrases his comments leads me to believe that he's mentally done with the Texans.
.. it may be that I don't like USC, but I just don't see it in Leinart... |

Two things wrong with your post. One, Kerry Collin leaving Carolina for New Orleans did not help the Saints. Second, David Carr to New Orleans would be more of the same.

i don't know what you all see or don't see in carr........
i have yet to see a qb take a beating and not show some shell shock to a degree........ i have seen many of them get off their butt and get knocked down again and again.... but carr, with an offense to some degree can really flat out burn you............ i'd have no problem at all seeing carr in b&g................. he's does not quit.............smitty |

It's nothing that I can quantify for you, just a gut feeling... hey, I've been known to be wrong before |

And a completion percentage under 60 in 10 out of 11 years. Yeah, yeah, he's been to a Super Bowl, but so has Trent Dilfer.

I would rather have Carr than Leinart, shorter time to get him up to speed...I would also be open to seeing Rivers, Carr, and A-Mac gun it out in training camp for the job...I see AB going to Tampa, Miami, or even Detroit if the qb situation does not get better there...Sound off
