hell yea we should. this season is done, why not get him a jump on next season. one less thing we will need in the draft if he can pick up the playbook. he cant do worse than brooks can he? worst thing that could happen is we lose right? arent we shooting for that anyway????

You know I say yes... But Iheard a good point on NFL radio the other day. It's a catch 22 with Brooks. Can't bench him, b/c you are telling everyone else you are quiting on the season.
Why quiting when you are taking out an effective QB? Here's the reason. Would Detroit take AB? Would the Jets take AB? Houston? Arizona? He's still a Starter in this league.
But I wouldn't care. I would make him re-fill the water bottles.

Hello, McFly... the Saints are 2-8; there are 6 teams with at least 7 wins in the NFC, and none of them is going to lose out ... season's over...

..define "effective"...
