this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Not good enough to go to the playoffs, but not bad enough to get a top 3 pick in the '06 Draft. However, the bright side to AB playing better is the potential for a higher trade value....

The beauty of it, is that after a 2 point win over the New York Freakin Jets........everyone is already assuming we are gonna win out and go 8-8.
We still have some tough games, so SC's like yourself and others might still have a shot at 5-11, or 6-10.... |

Second, what is an "SC"? |

The ones who never want better, for fear their idols will get the boot. So desperate are they to keep the status quo, anyone who wants an upgrade is deemed a "so-called" fan. SC. So to them, losing out on a game changing type player like Leinart or Bush is great news, cause they want us to be stuck with the same mediocrity forever.

Pretty harsh to cry racism over that.
Last night was vintage AB....he looked really good, but I'm not fooled. You don't have to be racist to be tired of AB and I think it's shameful when people call AB haters racists. I'm a white guy who doesn't like AB. Some of my favorite players.....McNair, McNabb, Deuce, Bentley, Will Smith, Charles Grant, Sammy Knight, LT, Hines Ward, Favre, Braylon Edwards, Woodson, etc..... So, you see, I am not a racist, yet I am sick of Aaaron Brooks. Now, Whodi's words are harsh and I don't believe that anyone who rooted for the Saints last night is just starving to keep the status quo and wants to keep Haz/Venturi/etc.. I knew that it would benefit us to lose, but I could not root against the Saints. I said I would before the game....couldn't do it. They will probably win 6 in a row. I still think it's time to get new coaches and a new QB....the problem is....who wants to be employed by this team with so much uncertainty around them. I would be very surprised to see large change this offseason. These guys have found every conceivable way to remain Saints employees, including natural disasters.....it's really quite amazing. |

Wanting us to draft an African-American player to improve the team doesn't make him a racist, it makes him a fan of the team.

The funny thing is, I ingore it cause I AM African American. But you guys aretrying to speak reason to a guy who said AB, should rape someone's grandma, no wait their goldfish cause grandma was too harsh, and accused me of "slumming with the help" cause I used slang before. BlackandBlue can confirm that cause he warned him about it after. So I simply ignore that BS. I want Haslett fired and Venturi gone too, I guess I am an all around racist.
