That was simply amazing . . . I cannot think of the appropriate words to describe what I just heard come from the mouth of what is supposed to be the leader of our team. The only one he didn't ping was the mascot. I have heard illiterates that sound more intelligent. It is no wonder we have the record that we have. If they don't can AB after this season and we fans continue to support such idiocy it makes us as big of idiots. I have been a fan since the beginning, but had some fallout back in the Bobby Hebert days. I have not been as rabid fan since, but continue to greatly care for the team and follow them. But if AB and Haddit are there next year I will seriously question my continued support. It seems like the team has sunken as low as they ever have. I cannot say the old battle cry "wait till next year" anymore, but will remain an idiot and continue to hope for something better, pray for Bradshaw to by out Benson, Pete Carrol to replace Hadditt and draft Linehart. Oh well if we don't have hope what do we have?

I don't talk often but here I go. Brooks needs to go. I cannot believe this s***!!! If Adrian McPherson is anything like this too, get rid of him also. Would even Leinart even come here???? Or Bush? (No not President Bush either) Somebody would have to come here and want to pick up the pieces and help rebuild not this damn loser. What is he getting paid?? 6 Mil? I wish we could get some nobody that would rise out of nowhere and bring us back to respectability. By the way, BOB, please for the love of GOD quit defending him he is not worth it.

Multiple Players: http://www.nola.com/sports/t-p/index...3522319820.xml Those are two examples, I don't feel like searching for more. If you are in San Antonio like your user info indicates, then you don't see the news here in New Orleans, so you haven't seen the numerous interviews where players have vented frustrations about the current situation. If there is something in particular that Brooks said that has you thinking he's an idiot, then we can discuss that, but the prevailing attitude is just that nobody likes Brooks, so anything he says or does makes him an idiot. I simply am saying that this interview sounded like an interview of a player on a 3-9 football team that has consistently underachieved for years that is going through serious upheavals. |

And you made that clear on another board as well Billy. But it's BS. And what does where I am located have to do with anything? In case you aren't aware, the Saints are currently HQ'd in San Antonio. I probably see more interviews than you. That's a silly comment to make. But clearly, WHO CARES? This thread is about Brooks and his interview, and people feeling his comments are moronic. Sorry that puts a bee in your bonnet. You have been beating this blame other players drum for far too long Billy for me not to know it's you. Give it a rest. If you wanna think Brooks is an Einstein in hiding, good for you. To others, he's a moron, and this interview just vindicates that feeling. You aren't gonna change any minds, so take your Brooks' defenses back to SR.

I think we can honestly say that none of the players are particularly happy with the situation, but none of them are contributing bonehead interviews and I think maybe AB is saying stuff like he is gonna quit if they move again because I think he knows he may not be playing at least for this team next year

I loved the MNF spot last night on the other qb's that came out the same year as AB, but I have to say that given the same opportunities Akili Smith and Tim Couch could have done just as well, poorly rather as AB

You obviously have me confused for someone else, because I don't post on ANY boards - I generally don't like to go back and forth with other fans.
Now, if we are discussing Brooks' interview, fine. Give me a SPECIFIC comment that Brooks made that makes him moronic. Don't speak in generalities. ...and we'll go from there. |

Kick Returner, what SPECIFICALLY makes the interview boneheaded. Y'all are speaking in generalities, be specific, then we can have a basis for discussion.
