this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Well it looks like Drew Brees was knocked out of the game against Denver with a shoulder injury and will not return. Looks like a nasty one too. Depending on how well Rivers plays, and the severity of Brees' injury, ...

Brees out, Rivers in.
Well it looks like Drew Brees was knocked out of the game against Denver with a shoulder injury and will not return. Looks like a nasty one too. Depending on how well Rivers plays, and the severity of Brees' injury, this could affect which player we pick in the first round. If Brees isn't hurt too badly, and Rivers does play well, I say we trade our 2007 first round pick for Rivers.
