RE: poll on 2nd pick
because of the stupidity by whomever in the frontoffice for not dealing howard for a late first last year, we have many mnay holes to fill. dt,lt,lb(several) just to start. don't have much choice but to trade at least once.

RE: poll on 2nd pick
It's might be just me, but I think Young is still too raw as a quarterback. Is he eligible for another season at Texas? If he is, and if I were him, I'd go back for another season and refine my skills to compete with Quinn next season. With that interview on espn he did, if I had to guess I have a gut feeling he's leaning toward staying which would be the smart choice in my opinion.
Whoa I got lost there... on the topic... if we could acquire an additional 2nd or a future first and not have to move down more than 3 or 4 slots, I'd trade down. If we can't get something like that, our best option would have to be Leinart or Bush. If I were Houston, I'd draft neither and trade down to select D'Brick. They could easily get an additional first and a 2nd for the rights to draft Bush... I'm thinking Jets here. So bascially unless there's a deal out there that blows us away, I'd go with the best player available... Leinart/Bush which will probably make everyone happy. |

RE: poll on 2nd pick
what is wrong with vince? i bet its b/c u guys watch vick and expect him to be as terrible a passer as vick is but VY leads the nation in passing effiecency this year! and he has improved mightly over last year.... the guy is a good qb and a leader... with out Young TX wouldnt be anything... but he makes everyone around him better....

RE: poll on 2nd pick
and i have heard that argument on this board about vick non-stop. well until this season. i guess his 150 yards passing a game became an issue. shaub is better then vick in my opinion
