To think that any of the Top 5 DTs would be available for the Saints second round pick - a lot of strange things would have to happen. Like managing to have a druig test come back \"dilluted\" before you even signed your first Pro contract (hello, Charles Rogers). The may not all go in the first round (although my little mock sees them going there), but none of them will fall to #50.
The impact of Trufant ... Just my opinion that linemen have little to worry about but their physical strength. The game up front isn\'t played a whole lot differently than on the college level. A CB may have to adjust to the new level in their first year. Are there any stats on how many starts were made by rookies broken down by position? I believe DTs would look pretty good in every normal year.
Trufant is the next Charles Woodson you say? He may be, but you just know that Robertson is an instant starter. With Trufant you take a higher risk. He has the physical skills and he seems to have the understanding of the game. But will he able to put it all on the field or will the game be too fast or too something for him in the first year?
I don\'t doubt Trufant, he will be a good player (I don\'t think great), but with Robertson you don\'t even have to worry about things like that. He brings his body and his instincts and that is that.

For the record: The question is academical. They won\'t trade up high enough to get Robertson and they won\'t trade up at all to get Trufant.
