Saints | Haslett fired
Mon, 2 Jan 2006 10:35:06 -0800 Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports the New Orleans Saints have fired head coach Jim Haslett. He was informed of general manager Mickey Loomis' decision Monday morning, Jan. 2, and then Loomis met with owner Tom Benson shortly after to finalize the details. Loomis will begin interviewing candidates immediately. The Saints are expected to announce the move later today. |

Sorry guys we crashed right after we posted the news on the front page. LOTS of people tried to log on all at once which was too much at the time. Sorry we were down. I'm trying to merge together some of these threads about Haz, not trying to step any toes just need to get this organized into one discussion.
