it has just as much to do with Reggie Bush and Deangelo Williams and anyone else who is being hyped as "The next best player" at their position. Notice I am going through each position. Now will you PLEASE go to one of my other posts and explain what your eyes have seen that sets Matt apart from Jay Cutler who has performed VERY well against a confrence known for Defense, but not here. This is my friendly thread, and let's keep it that way.

So everyone's gonna be a bust? No thanks, don't think I wanna play that game. I actually do think colleges can produce some very good NFL players.

I believe it also................Peyton Manning, Orlando Pace, Donovan McNabb, Caddy Williams.....These guys were sure things going into the draft. The guys that I am mentioning to include Vince Young are not sure products. That is why I am pushing for a trade down to fill glaring needs. That is what this is for and not a Matt bashing thread. Now I will admit my other posts are Matt bashing, so go to those posts and argue there, and PLEASE GAWD give me your reasoning why Matt6 is our Savior!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All you have to do is read around to see my reasons. I am not gonna keep explaining them. Who do you suggest be the QB of this team? If Matt, Vince, Reggie, and everyone else is gonna be a bust, why draft anyone? How would trading down help, when everyone is gonna be a bust anyway? To draft more busts? Isn;t it better to simply draft one bust at one position, than to draft 3 or four more at 4 different positions? Who do you see as sure products in this draft? Who are we trading down for? If that is the point you have been driving at all this time, just make it. Who is it you want us to trade down for and draft, and what exactly are we getting for trading down, and who will be the QB if we go that route?

Remember I just said NOT EVERYONE IS A BUST, but these top 5 guys have a big chance of being a bust, not all of them, but some of them. We would trade down for some good defesnsive players who have more of an upside. WE NEED LEADERSHIP at QB NOW! Not for the furture. I think you want to see the Saints fail and go to your San Antonio location, and that will happen if we don't win NOW! If they don't fill the Superdome in Nov. then Louisiana can say goodbye to my beloved Saints.

So who do we get at QB......Let's see Brett Favre would put fans in the seats and bring key leadership.....Now that is a dream choice and I really don't see it happening, but that would be the best bet. We have a VERY talented Offense once Deuce gets healthy......with some needs at O-line......Defense is the key in this order LB, CB, DT, FS, SS, DE. We NEED it all. We also need a Veteran QB.

Whodi we usually agree especially at QB. I wanted to get Bouman out of there and see what McPhereson can do, but they didn't do that. Oh well.

Anyway, Brett Favre? He has been as bad as Brooks lately. How about a hearty hell no on that one. That's your solution? Aye Carumba. So when he throws 20 something INTs, and we are 3-13 again, that's gonna fill the seats? Nice plan. Brett Favre is the solution? Unreal. So then what happens after next year? We go through the whole every hyped player will be a bust routing again? And who says Favre would wanna play here? And who knows how much he would want for something like that anyway. He's not gonna play for peanuts. That's a bad idea.

And please don't get it twisted about me wanting the team to move to SA. Only someone who doesn't know me would say that. I was born and raised in New Orleans guy, even went to college there. Didn't leave until I joined the army, and probably wouldn't have if I hadn't. Stick to talking about what you think you know, and not making inferences you can't prove or have any basis for saying. My whole family is from there, ALL OF THEM and the house I grew up in was flooded out. I have load sof relatives who still haven't gone back home, cause there is nothing for them to go back to.
