Just my take on it, but we're getting the better QB in N.O.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
how can u think that leinert will be better...
i mean sure he won a NC and 34 straight games but the guy had arguably the best Oline in the country he had the best RB, another 1st round back in Lydale white, maybe the Best WR this year in college in dwayne jarrett.....hell with all those weapons i could be a 1st rounder....
Actually, Texas had the best O-line in college football. If you don't believe me, just go to any draft analysis & see where the Texas O-linemen are projected to go. I'm not saying Young is garbage, but most NFL scouts think Leinart will be a much better PRO than Vince Young. He already has better mechanics & reads the field well (ala-Tom Brady). I don't know, but Tom Brady sounds a heck of a lot better to me than say a slower Michael Vick. That's just my opinion. 8) 8) 8)

and i was right..... out of 431 PA he was sacked 17 times which is about 25 attempts per sack.... 3 of those sacks came againts TX in the NC game...... thats pretty freakin good stats for an Oline....not to mention they had 2 1000 yard RBs.....

Yes, Leinart did have a good O-line, but the guy also moves around well when the pocket begins to collapse. Obviously, you don't like this guy. That's o.k. I hated him too. Especially when they tried to steal LSU's National Championship. But, You can't overlook talent because of personal feelings. This guy torched a Texas secondary that's sending 4 guys to the pros for the tune of 365 yards. Oh, & by the way, he's been doing that kind of thing for the last 3 years. I don't know, but I remember not drafting Tom Brady back in 2000 & something about this guy says Tom Brady. Not to mention, all the great QB's have double chins (Namath, Montana, Brady). HA HA HA

here is another stat for you....VY in his first year passed for 1140 yards, in his 2nd year 1849 yards... an increase of 709 yards....now... VY this year passed for 2769... so he increased his passing yards in his 3rd year by 920 yards... now... using the simple formula... i just happened to think of... he increased his yardage increase by roughly 200 yards per year so that would roughly give him an increase of 1100 yards in his 4th year of college football giving him a total of 3800 passing yards... thats if he stays in college for 1 more year... thats a pretty significant increase....and would be considered a great passer if that would happen yes no?

not only that but he has avg'd 1000 yards rushing every year... so that would give him almost 4k yards passing and 1k yards rushing... id say that would be pretty effin good....

DID YA GET ALL THAT!!?!??!

And other than Ohio State & USC, who did Texas play? Remember the Big 12 is not what it used to be. Young could never put those kind of numbers up in the SEC, much less the pros. Just remember all the nut jocking of Young (after one game), & read me his stats in the pros next year.
