Marcus Vick gonna get suspended.....

It appears we may have another QB to choose from:

TECH TO SUSPEND VICK

According to The Hampton Roads (Va.) Daily Press, Virginia Tech quarterback will be suspended an undetermined number of games, if he returns to the school in 2006.

Tech coach Frank Beamer will meet with Vick and his mother on Friday. If he is unwilling to accept the suspension, his only options are to transfer to another school or turn pro. A transfer to another Division I-A school would require him to sit out an entire season; he could play immediately if he jumps to a Division I-AA institution. In 2004, Vick was linked to I-AA Georgia Southern after getting into various problems at Tech.

The decision to suspend Vick is the direct result of his conduct during the Gator Bowl on Monday, during which he stomped on the leg of Louisville defensive end Elvis Dumervil while Dumervil was on the ground.

Vick has until January 15 to declare his intent to enter the April draft.

Uhhh, no thanks on the rapist.

It's a bad idea to burn a draft pick on a guy "most likely to do time at Angola while on your roster".

I'm pretty optimistic about the rehabilitation of A-Mac, have no interest in bringing on a project who is giving no evidence of putting his problems behind him.

Hey BMG I wasn't saying we should take him, but with our front office they will figure they can get him cheap in the 3 or 4 round and take a chance on him.

The NFL would love having another Vick in the NFC South. It would sell tickets for sure.

He really needs another year in college though.

He might not get it. If he is suspended no telling how long, it would not pay him to do anything else but enter the draft and hope for the best. Unless he could transfer to another division 1aa school.

Someone has to tell VPI that not because someone's last name is "Vick" that someone can play QB. The guy is an awful QB, and doesn't have the moves of Mike Vick. Just because the guy comes from the same gene pool as Mike, who himself is not a good QB, doesn't mean he can move like MIke. Just ask Michael Jordan's brother...
