this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; The Houston Texans will select USC running back Reggie Bush with the No. 1 pick in this April's NFL draft, pending the formality of Bush announcing that he is turning pro, team and league sources told Chris Mortensen. Almost nothing ...

Texans to pick Bush
Don't think this one has been posted here. I would rather see us pick a defensive player but if we get Leinart, oh well... |

RE: Texans to pick Bush
I just read this on ESPN.com, myself. I have a very strong feeling that if the Texans take Bush, then the Saints will trade their #2 pick to Tennesee so they can draft Leinart and us picking up their #3, a 2nd rounder and maybe a later round pick. If Young is definitely coming out, I see the Saints taking him. I don't know why I'm feeling this way, but I think the Saints will have a better shot at signing VY than Leinart. As much as I'd rather see Leinart in New Orleans, I have too strong of a feeling that Young will be the man chosen. I have nothing against Vince Young being in New Orleans, I'm just afraid of drafting a "Vick-esque" QB.

RE: Texans to pick Bush
The Texans would be retarded not to draft Bush unless Reeves believes that Davis and Morency can shoulder the load and taking D'Brick will help the offense more. Remember Reeves is the one who started the Running Back dynasty in Denver and he knows what it takes to turn an average running back into a great one, so with that said why would he waste the money on Bush.
