ESPN.com's Chris Mortensen reports sources close to former Detroit Lions head coach Steve Mariucci said he's not prepared to re-enter the NFL fray again at this stage and he will likely sit out the 2006 season.

Rams | Team will interview Lewis Monday

Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports the St. Louis Rams will interview New York Giants defensive coordinator Tim Lewis for their head coaching vacancy in New York Monday, Jan. 9. The Giants are limiting the interview time to two hours. The Rams have no clear cut favorite for the job and are hoping Lewis will impress them enough to become the favorite for the job.

Saints | Serious interviews to start next week

Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports the New Orleans Saints have been in the process of moving back to Louisiana and thus they have not conducted any "serious" interviews for their head coaching vacancy. That will change next week when the team brings in some candidates for interviews.

Oh, I forgot we are going to wait until all the good ones are gone first and then we'll strike.

Golf and sex are about the only things you can enjoy without being good at them.

and with Kubiak being so closely linked to Reeves in Houston you would think he is gone too. I wouldn't mind Henderson from the Jets or Fassell but we need to pull the trigger before we get shot in the face first.

I would rather Henderson. Tassel has a rep of being too soft. Need someone to show the team some tough love.
