a good qb gets the most out of his teammates. makes them play above their capabilities, having the best team in college football, roster for roster name by name. facing losing to arizona state, notre dame and countless other teams they nearly lost to, tells me somebody at qb wasn't getting the most out of his comrades, one are 2 games is understandable not 6-10. leinart spent the offseason partying, while young spent the season melding with his teammates trying to get them better, like in the weight room and film room.

also vince young leadership skills seperates him from lienart, vince's leadership skills are thousands of miles beyond lienart.

treat lienart like a drug, just say no!

Remember Vince Young is the type of quarterback that "comes around every two decades."

I find it truly amazing how people are discrediting Leinart who has been a consistent performer throughout his entire college career. Young on the other hand, until this year, has not been on the same level as Leinart. It's amazing how one game made Young into this now super human quarterback that will lead us into becoming a dominating franchise. Young is good, but he's definately not our savior. Leinart is a ready-now A prospect while we'll have to wait with Young. That's a no brainer to me. I'd also like to add that USC's defense is no where near what it's been in years past. They've practically lost their whole defense from last year to the draft. If you watch USC football, you'd know that. By no means am I trying to discredit Young's great performance the other night, but do you think he would have done the exact same thing with Patterson, Cody, Tatupu, etc. starting? I doubt it... though he still would have put up a respectable performance.

and if we trade with Tennessee we could wind up with Volek and the QB situation would be solved at the same time.

why are you so eager to pickup a qb, that his team doesn't want? volek will never be the titans starting qb, even with mcnair on his last leg. that in itself should speak volumes to you, it does to me cause i've been reading the past few days they consider cutting him. something about poor decision making, holding onto the ball to long can't feel the rush yadadada.

Win, where have you been dude. The Titans had several opportunities to trade Volek last year but were asking way too much in compensation for him. If they wanted to get rid of him they would have done just that and post some of your yada yada crap and I will be glad to respond. Just a link or quote is sufficient.

Leinart had surgery during the past off season. Therefore lifting weights was out of the question. I also remember seeing Leinart on the sidelines in camp coaching the other quarterbacks. So...

And so what if he had some fun during the off season, he's in college. Isn't that what you're suppose to do... have some fun? Look what he's accomplished his 4 years there... I think he can do whatever he pleases. If Shannon Doherty came knocking at my door like she did Leinart, I'd party my ass off too. Actually I'm not a Doherty fan... but a Jessica Alba would have done it.

lienart is ready now for what? to party on bourbon street? why i discredit him, i thought i explained that in my post. he plays with the best roster in college football around him at every position. does he get the most out of his teammates? the answer is no! texas has a very good team, but it doesn't compare to the amount of all americans usc strolled out on that night. along with the half dozen are so nearly losses during the season against mediocre teams, a above average qb doesn't allow for those. lienart is doggie poop smelling bad.

was that during the time he spent lifting up those beer kegs at the parties that i saw pictures of him attending? is that considered weight trainning?

Of course he doesn't get the most out of his team mates... he's only won 2 championships and barely lost a third.

If you were talking about last years USC, the amount of all americans would have been in the dozens. Now if you talking about this year, you better google it up yourself... I'm not going to do your homework. Same ole BlackonBlack... sigh.

yeah, that exacly what he'd probably say. he won 2 national championships, while vince would say his team won a national championship. and he probably would even be humble enough to mention lsu won the national championship in 2003.

I'll just stop here... next thing you know Leinart's racist. I don't know why I'm still in this conversation... I'm just going to go back to the old approach.
