This is the dream scenario. There could be no better outcome for us.

If Reggie Bush were still there at number 2, some team would be a Ditka and give up their entire draft this year and next to get him. I'd pull the trigger on that trade down in a heartbeat. We could drop 15 spaces and probably still take LenDale White, who's the better back anyway if we had to take a RB.

I think we would be crazy not to draft him unless we can get more bang for the buck by trading down for someone we need worse plus a first and a second pick.

Bush won't be in a wedding dress but I think you have to snag Bush. If Mike Martz ends up our coach I think we will be assured to get Bush.

deuce is the man and stecker is a very solid back up. not to mentio nthat we still have a-train and smith back there as well.

Actually, I also agreed with your idea of trading down IF someone was willing to give us what Ditka gave for Ricky. That's about the only way I would pass on Leinart. I know you don't agree with taking him, but just wanted to let ya know that getting two whole drafts for the right for someone to pick Bush does actually sit well with me. And harmony is returned to the world. :D

Trade out of the spot no matter who is available. I know I am not high on Deuce right now but we need to give him a chance and I mean just one more year to prove himself again. Bush would be a distraction to our entire team. Trade down, trade down, trade down.

Noone said Leinart is god, we were speaking on who is the best fit for the team. Noone denies he won't be a pro bowler as a rookie, only closed minded individuals though would say the guy sucks, as you have done.

whodi deuce could be a top 20 back again but he hasn't been the last two years. end of story on that man. well i may be going a little far with the top 20. lets say top 10. he could bounce back and i would love to see it because i really like the guy and hopefully a change in coach will do that. even when he was healthy this year he looked like crap. smith looked better
