RE: Brooks
i think we can get a decent player for him if we were to trade him to a team with no QB such as miami, or buffalo. anything defence

RE: Brooks
I don't think we would get much more out of him than a trade straight up for another QB. You guys already know who I would trade for and who's available, so I won't even get into with ya.

RE: Brooks
Nobody's going to give up anything for Brooks.
However, the Dome still needs cleaning. Put Brooks on janitor duty & make him earn those millions he's making!!!!! |

RE: Re: RE: Brooks
On pure value, Brooks is probably worth about a 2nd or 3rd round draft pick. The Saints will never get that for him since most teams figure the Saints will release him. Since there are probably a few coaches who still believe his hype, the Saints could still land a second day pick for him.

there are many teams interested in brooks or so i read........ but the thing is, brooks agent has stated that brooks does not want to leave n.o. and since we do not know who the new coach will be, we won't really be sure which direction they are heading until we have one. and even then, deep down i believe benson had something to do with the benching of brooks because of his mouth. if this is the case, they may try to package brooks some way for something and go the new qb route..... remember brooks 1st yr with us, he had a decent o. line and he did extremely well with time. and with a decent o. line, he could very well do a repeat with another team and make us look like the fools again........... i'm sure i'm not the only one that was in disbelief his first yr with what he could do, and i'm very sure i'm not the only one who's been shaking his head ever since..........smitty |
