Walter Jones and Steve Hutchinson make the best left side tandem in the NFL... I don't think they'll ever dismantle that side of the line. It's their bread and butter. But if we ever did have a chance at him, hell yea I would love to pair him up with Brown on the left side of our line. It's only a matter of time before he moves over there. But... remember we have to resign Bentley and we still have Gandy's large contract on our hands. That's pretty much squashes our dream.

RE: Re: O LINE FA
You can always make one... I think you can just order it out of Eastbay and customize a name on the back of it. Or, I think Sports Avenue, that's right Sports Avenue, does it. I know there use to be one in the East in the Plaza Mall, but that's pretty much out of the discussion now. If not, just try Champs I'm pretty sure they can accomadate anything.

Zach i like the line up but i agree the LT will cost too much unless we get lucky. I like the kid out of Boise St. for the draft.
Guards i do like they usally come a bit cheaper. I would love to move Bentley back to gaurd and pick up a veteran center. I think this would give us more flex on the line. I thought moving Merryberry back to G was to put him at his normal position? |

RE: Re: O LINE FA
Idunno for sure, but he did start RT for them last year. I would love to put Bentley back at RG, but I would rather bring in a 3 or less yeared C so we can start new at everything, instead of sporadically. I liked Jason Brown last year from UNC, he went to Ravens. But no way we would trade for a O-line man.

You can forget about Ray Brown. He just retired today.
Unrestricted free agents consist of the better talent. I'd like to see a list of o-linemen UFAs. |
