I would be so upset if we took VY. But anyways, those cap numbers look ridiculous. Here's how they looked according to ESPN.com in September:
TEAM-BY-TEAM SALARY CAP UPDATE
Arizona Cardinals $6.4 million
Atlanta Falcons $2.82 million
Baltimore Ravens $3.55 million
Buffalo Bills $3.45 million
Carolina Panthers $1.77 million
Chicago Bears $5.9 million
Cincinnati Bengals $5.73 million
Cleveland Browns $5.59 million
Dallas Cowboys $5.9 million
Denver Broncos $1.3 million
Detroit Lions $2 million
Green Bay Packers $3.9 million
Houston Texans $7.8 million
Indianapolis Colts $5 million
Jacksonville Jaguars $5.1 million
Kansas City Chiefs $3.1 million
Miami Dolphins $3.6 million
Minnesota Vikings $4.3 million
New England Patriots $1.4 million
New Orleans Saints $5.6 million
New York Giants $2.05 million
New York Jets $2.2 million
Oakland Raiders $927,000
Philadelphia Eagles $12.6 million
Pittsburgh Steelers $1 million
St. Louis Rams $6.5 million
San Diego Chargers $3.3 million
San Francisco 49ers $3.4 million
Seattle Seahawks $3 million
Tampa Bay Buccaneers $672,000
Tennessee Titans $168,000
Washington Redskins $1.96 million
So unless teams like Zona cleared up almost 24 million in cap space during the season, which I don't think they did, I'm going to say those figures might not be 100% accurate.
