Thank you again, Jim Haslett!!!
..as I watched the Panthers offense dominate the "great" Bears defense, and Jake throw for yet another 2TD, 300+ yard game , have a QB rating of 100+, and be 5-1 in the playoffs, on his way to his second NFC championship game in 3 seasons, I could only reminisce with melancholic fondness the Great Decision of 2002 by our beloved Jim Haslett...

Jake has played well since becoming the starter for the Panthers, I just wonder what could have been if we would had made him the starter in N.O, it's like Jake refuses to lose games always giving his team a chance, dame I hate the Panthers, go Seahawks... Go Steelers

..it's not just that he comes up big in big games, is his attitude towards the game and his leadership.
...commenting on the 13-3 loss against the Bears in Nov., knowing he was sacked 8 times, being that he was knocked to the ground just about every time he went back to pass, that the running game wasn't there at all, and that Henning called a horrible game, what does he say? "I lost that game for us". Some would say "duh, he threw 2 picks, he did lose the game", and that is debatable, but taking the responsibility for the loss, not blaming the team around him even when there's plenty of blame to go around, and acknowledging that he needs to do better, that's what leaders do. Heck, he's even picking up the slack for the defense!!. ... guess I'm still bitter after 3 years, uh? |

i love jake. i remember watching him sub-for brooks 4 years ago and thinking "he looks really good...they should let him compete with brooks for the job."
oh well, i guess that is why i'm in politics and not running a nfl front office. |

... and now Dan Patrick said on Sportscenter that, with yesterday's performance, Jake has the highest QB rating for a QB in the playoffs all time!!!
... I hate Jim Haslett. |
