Jets | Team offers Mangini head coaching job

Ken Berger, of Newsday, reports the New York Jets have offered New England Patriots defensive coordinator Eric Mangini their head coaching job. The team is expected to finalize contract details that could allow Mangini to be named head coach as early as Tuesday, Jan. 17. Mangini is expected to accept the offer, which would make him the youngest head coach in the NFL at the age of 34.
