Detroit gets HASBEEN?

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Looks like the Lions fans are in the same spot we were yesterday: http://www.lionbacker.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4208 I hope we play them 6 times next year. Can't we argue that we had a rough season and we need a break....

RE: Detroit gets HASBEEN?

As I said before, I wish carrot top the best of luck, he thought he had problems in N.O wait until he arrives in Detroit, what a mess over there, the Ford family I think is worst than Benson, my niece lives in Detroit, she said that most of the fans she knows there want the Ford family to sell the team, sound familiar..
Goodbye Haslett hello Payton..

LIONS ROAR
Despite the speculation, it now looks as if the Lions will not wait for Pittsburgh offensive line coach Russ Grimm. It now looks like Detroit's two finalists are former Saints coach Jim Haslett and Buccaneers assistant head coach Rod Marinelli.

Marinelli is scheduled to go through his next round of interviews with the Lions on Jan. 18, while Haslett will have his final interview with Lions ownership Jan. 19.

Marinelli and Haslett are viewed as the tough, sharp candidates who can help re-establish Detroit as a playoff contender. But whomever the Lions decide to go with -- and the smart money seems to be on Haslett -- Detroit is expected to have its decision by the end of the week

RE: Detroit gets HASBEEN?

Clayton on ESPN just said Hasbeen is way ahead for the Lions job and he thought he would be named on Thursday.
