Young or Leinart
Theres no Vince Young in the conference championships right now, nor has a Vince young won the Super Bowl. He would be fun watch and make the saints a contender everygame. The quarterbacks who don't become the big show are the ones playing still this weekend: Hasselback, Delhomme, Rothlisberger & Plummer. We need a quaterback who can just prevent himself from making stupid mistakes and as athletic as Young may be or as much as he compares to Vick, Vicks not in the playoffs neither is Mcnabb. If we go with a quarterback it needs to be Leinart or the guy from Vanderbilt.

Young would be the quicker fix, in my opinion. His mobility would be a plus as the Saints shore up any offensive line woes. I'm leaning towards Leinart as solid project for the future. Either will probably do well for any team in need.
My bigger concern is which experienced QB will we have on the roster in the meantime. Food for thought. 8) |

It's also possible, with Payton's supposed knowledge of QB's and knowing we have so many needs, that we will trade down for a QB that has caught Payton's eye in a unique way.
Not likely, I guess. But possible. 8) |

Leinart to N.O. Jay Cutler from Vandy is overrated. Come on he plays for VANDY! The Saints have to make the best move for the future and that is drafting Leinart. He is a leader who is tough and knows how to manage a game.

i don't see payton manning playing anymore either. that's who ya'll say lienfart compares to. young doesn't compare to vick, he's better than vick. he compares to steve mcnair/ steve young. he's more dynamic than vick already a better passer than vick. what times is manning's game?

the only veteren FA qb out there that would be a good fit for the saints would be kitna. i like volek, but he will want way too much money. schaub from atlanta wouldn't be bad, but he is unproven. he could be another jake delhomme
