Jeff Darlington, of the Palm Beach Post, reports Miami Dolphins QB Gus Frerotte might not be with the team for the 2006 season due to the expected departure of offensive coordinator Scott Linehan to the St. Louis Rams. Frerotte was often praised for his knowledge of Linehan's system, but the loss of that advantage may cause the Dolphins to go a different route at quarterback.

The Toledo Blade reports Bowling Green junior QB Omar Jacobs has signed with a sports agent and is working out in California in preparation for the NFL Draft. Spiro Pettas of Athletes First says the agency is providing housing and a car for Jacobs, as well as coordinating his workouts with various coaches and trainers.

isn't ferotte the guy that headbutted a brick wall? just what we need another genius qb.

jacobs isn't a bad qb, but i think he is too similar to AMac. weither we get a veteren FA or a rookie qb, i want someone who can start next year.

Cherm, have you been hitting the cold DIXIE early? One is DOA and the other is no better then Amac...IMHO.

what are you talking about 25? has anyone talked about ferotte's headbutting incident or that AMac is a similar player to jacobs. if so i haven't read it yet.

OK I don't care if he headbutted yo momma, Phins wouldn't have won as many games as they did without him and if you want someone that will start next season name him and don't just throw out that you think Leinart can do it, give us someone you think can actually start, BECAUSE LEINART WON'T FOR ANY TEAM.
