No they aren't giving up on Pennington yet. Stay at #2 unless we get an offer too good to pass up.

Sounds right. You never know what will transpire, though. I was simply stating what I believed to be a Jet need. Know it sounds a little crazy....

Cool. Now if we are able to get a King's Ransom for the #2 pick, I say see ya later Leinart and Young. Seeing as all of the teams in the top 5 are badly in need of multiple position help, i doubt we get a trade offer worthy of accepting. I'm not of the belief that we should trade no matter what.

Trade talk aside for a moment...

I think the Jets need to find a way to secure another starting QB. Maybe Fiedler can help there (can't remember if he's still there)? I'm not sure they can win many with the cold, dead corpse of Vinny Testaverde.

Don't get me wrong. I like Pennington. I just hope his Blue Cross - Blue Shield payments are being payed. Knowhudimean?

i like the brick, but i like the idea of a true franchise quarterback even better!

i have said this before, but i often find myself repeating myself myself myself myself...
i would rather take a chance on leinart and see him only be an average qb, than pass him up only to regret it 20 years from now if/when he is being inducted into the hall of fame.
