Buzzmaster: (11:18 AM ET ) Hey gang ... we're here at the Riverview Plaza hotel in downtown Mobile. The weigh-in's are about to start so everyone is filing into the Alabama Ballroom. We're going to try and track down someone from the Texans after the weigh-in to talk about having that first pick in the draft.

Buzzmaster: (11:20 AM ET ) We'll also try to track down a player before they have to head to this afternoon's dual practice at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.

fred (texas): also...do you see skyler green being drafted in the same way that Steve Smith was drafted just for special teams or have teams changed their views on players of this type because of what smith has done

Scouts, Inc's Todd McShay: (1:53 PM ET ) There is definately a change in mentality going on at the WR position in the NFL. With more of an emphasis on the 5-yd. chuck rule, teams are not as obsessed with big receivers. However, the difference between Steve Smith and Skyler Green is SPEED. Smith is a 4.3 receiver... Green is a 4.5 receiver. Green might become a solid return specialist and No. 3 WR in the NFL, but he will never be the explosive playmaker that Smith has emerged as for the Panthers.

Craig (Massachusetts): Which draft eligible players from the Hula Bowl and East-West Shrine Bowl improved their status?

Scouts, Inc's Todd McShay: (1:56 PM ET ) I did the broadcast for the East-West Shrine game and I extremely impressed with the increased level of talent on that roster this year. The Hula Bowl, on the other hand, has really dropped off.

Scouts, Inc's Todd McShay: (1:58 PM ET ) As for the E-W Shrine game, FSU RB Leon Washington and Miami OLB Rocky McIntosh were the best two players at that game. McIntosh should be a high second round draft pick and Washington should come off the board in the second or third round. As for some "sleeper" types, Western Michigan WR Greg Jennings, Hofstra WR Marques Colston and Cal-Poly DL Chris Gocong stood out.

Ron (Cali): I heard alot of great things about Chris Gocong at the Shrine game. How are you projecting him?

Scouts, Inc's Todd McShay: (2:00 PM ET ) Yes, I was just mentioning him. I think Gocong improved his draft stock significantly at the E-W Shrine game. He's a versatile defensive linemen with good quickness and power. He's at his best when allowed to get upfield quickly and chase the football. I think he'll be an early Day 2 pick as a DE for most teams or as a DT for teams that employ smaler defensive fronts (Colts, Bucs, etc.)

Os (NJ): Daniel Manning seemed to be a Kiper favorite as a sleeper from a small school... how did he measure up in the Shrine Game?

Scouts, Inc's Todd McShay: (2:02 PM ET ) He didn't stand out in the game but Manning had a great week of practice. I think what will help him as a 3rd or 4th round prospect is his versatility... he can play cornerback and safety, and he also has great experience returning kickoffs and punts.

Bob (Grove City , OH): Will Chad Greenway be available when the Browns pick at 12 and is he a good fit in their 3-4 system?

Scouts, Inc's Todd McShay: (2:05 PM ET ) He should be, and the Browns could use a playmaker like Greenway on their defensive side of the ball. OSU OLB A.J. Hawk should come off the board in the top five or seven picks. Then it will become a competition between Alabama's DeMeco Ryans and Greenway. I think Ryans will come off the board first, but I'm still not convinced that he's a better prospect than Greenway. When you add up Greenway's consistent production over the last three years and then take into account that he's 2 inches taller than Ryans, 10 pounds bigger and runs the 40-yd dash in .15 seconds faster, I'm just not sure why some people have Ryans rated so much higher?

Ryan D (Pawleys island, sc): How is Charlie Whitehurst coming across to NFL scouts?

Scouts, Inc's Todd McShay: (2:07 PM ET ) We're just getting started here at the Senior Bowl. Heights and Weights were taken this morning. The first practice is not until around 3pm central time today. However, this is a huge week for Whitehurst. For a player with such good tools but such an inconsistent collegiate career, a week at the Senior Bowl can make or break his NFL draft status.

Trevor (TX): Do you think Houston will make a mistake if they do not pick our hometown hero Vince Young?

Scouts, Inc's Todd McShay: (2:10 PM ET ) I think it will be a huge mistake if they don't take Bush. Young is a phenominal athlete and has great upside as an NFL QB prospect -- much greater than Leinart, even. However, his risk-level is too high, as is his potential developmental curve. He's going to need a longer time than most QB's to make the transition to the NFL. There's also a huge concern about his ability to stahy healthy as a running QB in the NFL. In my opinion, there are just too many question marks on Young to pass up on a sure think like Bush, who will instantly make David Carr a much better quarterback.

Rod (Pittsburgh): Todd, who are the top 5 corners in order of how you think they will get picked? Is Cromartie from FSU a first round pick at this point? Thanks.

Scouts, Inc's Todd McShay: (2:12 PM ET ) Cromartie has first round talent but he's an awfully big risk bedcausre of his durability and inexperience. Right now, I'd have to go with Va. Tech's Jimmy Williams followed by OSU's Ashton Youboty, Cromartie, Florida's Dee Webb and S. Carolina's Jonathan Joseph.

Kevin (State College): Where do you think Michael Robinson will go in the draft and what position would be a best fit for him?

Scouts, Inc's Todd McShay: (2:13 PM ET ) I think Michael Robinson's best fit in the NFL will be as a versatile receiver, running back and return specialst type. Look for Robinson to come off the board in the fourth or fifth round.

jwright (st joe): does brad smith have the ability to make it in the nfl, much like randle el?

Scouts, Inc's Todd McShay: (2:15 PM ET ) Much like Robinson, Smith will need to make the transition to a different position in order to make it in the NFL. I think Smith could develop into a contribotor as a WR... and possibly return kicks as well. Georgia's D.J. Shockley and Texas A&M's Reggie McNeal will try QB first, but they may need to switch positions in the NFL as well.

Davin Joseph: (2:28 PM ET ) I feel most comfortable at guard. But I also can play tackle if need be.

Maurice (Shreveport): Are you looking forward to the whole draft process or are you dreading it?

Davin Joseph: (2:29 PM ET ) I'm looking forwad to it. I don't have anything to hide as far as what I do on the field, in the classroom or off the field. This will be fun to meet so many other players, coaches and scouts. It will be more fun than a hassle.

tommy (NYC): Davin, I play guard in high school, how much is the game different in the trenches between high school and college?

Davin Joseph: (2:30 PM ET ) The game is a lot faster in college than in high school. The guys are way bigger and the competition is just so much faster. You play against more competitive players on a weekly basis.

The Dish (Carol Stream, IL): Davin, what rating do you think you should have in Madden '07 when it comes out?

Davin Joseph: (2:31 PM ET ) If I end up a first rounder I want 80 or above. If I don't go first round, I won't complain!

J.J. (Johnstown): Davin have you spoken with Jamaal Brown about what to expect in the NFL?

Davin Joseph: (2:32 PM ET ) Yes. I speak to him for casual conversation about twice a week. He told me what to expect and what not to be surprised about.

Knoxville: How important do you think this week is to your draft status?

Davin Joseph: (2:33 PM ET ) It's huge. This week will prove a lot for a lot of people. I have to prove I can play fast and physical and be consistent at the guard position. I'm looking forward to proving to scouts, coaches and GMs that I'm the No. 1 guard going into the draft.

John (Dallas, TX): Davin, I watched your entire career at OU and was wondering if you are glad you went to OU or would you of liked to stay closer to home and played in Florida? Also, did the opportunnity to play next to J Brown your Junior year give you any insight of what it would be like being THE anchor on the O-line for your Senior year? Boomer Sooner!

Davin Joseph: (2:36 PM ET ) I enjoyed my time at Oklahoma. I had a chance to play in some big games, win championships and play with great players. I don't think I would have experienced that elsewhere. To play next to Jamaal really helped me develop as a player. Jamaal is a tremendous player and hopefully some of it rubbed off on me.

Max (Lincoln): Davin, would you rather go to a run first team (Steelers, Chiefs) or a passing team (Indy, Philly)? Or do you care?

Davin Joseph: (2:37 PM ET ) I don't really care. I just want the chance to play in the NFL for hopefully a long career. I prefer the run but you have to be able to pass block, too.

Jeff (Wewoka): Davin, as an O-lineman, which do you prefer blocking for, a power back like AD or a jitter bug like Q?

Davin Joseph: (2:37 PM ET ) I enjoy blocking for Adrian and Quentin but if I had to choose I would pick Adrian. He's a downhill runner and I like to downhill block.

A.J. Stevens: When will you start meeting with teams?

Davin Joseph: (2:38 PM ET ) I already started on Saturday. I have quite a few meetings set up this week. It differs with every team. Some of them ask really stupid questions and they all want to just get to know you.

Jeff (Wewoka): Davin, are you glad you made the switch from defense to offense?

Davin Joseph: (2:40 PM ET ) Yes. Of course. I liked the offensive side more because it is more of a challenge to me. Offensive linemen have the advantage in most situations!

Ryan (Boston): In your words, What makes you the #1 rated OG in the draft?

Davin Joseph: (2:42 PM ET ) I believe I'm more of a total package than the other guards in the draft. On a consistent basis, I'm able to dominate the line of scrimmage better than the other guards.

Steven (ohio): How did it feel to finally lose to Texas and would it have been a different outcome if Adrian was healthy?

Davin Joseph: (2:43 PM ET ) If Adrian was healthy, it could have been different but he wasn't so it is what is. It wasn't a good feeling losing to Texas but they had an amazing season and accomplished some amazing things.

Tony (Palm Beach): Who was your favorite NFL team growing up. Also, who did you idolize in football growing up.

Davin Joseph: (2:44 PM ET ) Buffalo Bills! Jim Kelly, Andre Reed, Bruce Smith .. I loved that team. I would cry when they lost! Those Super Bowls were hard to get over as a kid!

Davin Joseph: (2:47 PM ET ) I'd say Vince Young. Because he won a national championship. Not a lot of QBs can say that. He did it as a junior. That's my case!
