Who can forget Turley and the helmet toss? Sometimes I wish the summer olympics would im-plement that in the the events. ;0) Sadly though...I remember we lost that game.

The Saints/Rams Playoff Game: I live in StL & had to endure insult after insult in my own home from the rest of my family (Goats Fans). When Hakim fumbled their faces all went white, & I told them they could cram a Ram's horn up their a**!

Saints Rams Playoff 2000 What a game.

Last Game of the season 2004 beating Carolina on the road to kill there playoff hopes after the media crowned them a playoff team was sweet. Then the F'in Jets can't close the deal against the Rams ah well a former saints kicker for ya.

A week later they rallied to beat Los Angeles at home to clinch the playoff spot. An inspiring win which set the stage for the Dome Patrol years.

That was my favorite, too. That was the 1st year we beat San Fran when it really counted. The Dome Patrol dominated the game!!!!! :bananajoy:

Definitely the first playoff win.

Close second though is the Tampa Bay game last year. We were down by double digits in the 4th quarter, and then the Beer Man took one close to the end zone, and our defense made a huge stop and we punched it in at the end. At the time, it saved our playoff eligibility.

My best game was when we were losing by a lot of points at the half ( I think ii was 26 points) against the Rams about 5 years ago, our D came out in the second half and crippled Warner, we won in the end, everything went right for us in the second.
Warner was sacked like 6-7 times if I recall

My favorite game was one that I didn't get to see. In 1971 I listened to the Saints beat the Rams when Archie played in his rookie season. I didn't see it, but I stayed up all night and listened to it on the Armed Forces Radio service. I was at Danang , Viet Nam

Quote from Roger Staubach in the '70's:

"He (Manning) is the only quarterback in the league who could have made the Pro Bowl on that Saints team."

Was the 63 yard field goal game. It still sends chills down my spine remembering the announcers that day. The stadium was emptying then as everyone figured out that Dempsey was going to attempt a kick to win the game the stadium begins filling again.

Definately the playoff "W" over the Rams in 2000. Waited so long for that day to come plus it was a really entertaining game. Granted I was going crazy in the 4th but nothing comes easy for the Saints, so why should our first playoff victory be anything different, lol.
