this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; In ESPN.com's mock draft, he has the Saints drafting C Jeff Faine with pick no. 17. He had credibility but I'm now convinced that he doesn't know what the hell he's talking about! I can deal with the second pick ...

Totally agree! Neither of these players fills an immediate need and neither player is rated that high on any team\'s board. This goes against any reason. I will streak through my neighborhood if either of these players are drafted by the Saints at 17 or 18.
Don\'t forget it was not just Clayton; Len Pasquarelli and NFL editors Peter Lawrence-Riddell and James Black participated as well |

yes, they were part of the mock draft but it was clayton who made the picks for the saints....
