I like Leinart as much as the next guy, but.........

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; We could be in for a long year without some major work on the O-line through the draft or FA. The draft needs to be defense and WR after Leinart, so we look later or maybe to get some picks ...

We could be in for a long year without some major work on the O-line through the draft or FA. The draft needs to be defense and WR after Leinart, so we look later or maybe to get some picks out of the current guys we are getting rid of. I would have liked to seen Bentley get franchised so we could trade him and get something for him.

Does anyone think our current group of knuckleheads on the o-line could protect Lainart? I like what I saw of Jamaal, but what about the rest? Are we overpaying for a couple of these FA's we brought in? Did the previous coaching staff do a poor job with them, or did Bentley's poor job of calling the blocking schemes make them all look that bad?

I like Leinart, but I would have rather seen the last regime of coach's put in AMAC to see what he's got, if we had done that, then maybe we could trade down and select Brick. With our completely unsettled QB situation and the CBA looking to be up in the air, we will not be signing any QB FA's to long term deals.

Until AMAC lines up under center, he'll be no more than a 2nd stringer. j/k. I like AMAC, but I don't think he's the future of the franchise. I'm holding firm to my belief that we should draft Leinart. If we could release Gandy, pick up another LT or possibly move Brown over there and get another RT, and PRAY that they fork over the money to re-sign Bentley, I don't think our O-Line will be that bad. It will be interesting to see how free agency and the draft pans out. I know we all want a quick fix, but don't count on it. It could be 2-3 years before the team is competitive again.

People shouldn't be afraid of their government. Governments should be afraid of their people.

I mentioned that a while back. Whats up with Mcpherson? All this hype even to the point where they made replica jerseys for the guy and we still have not heard anything.
