Bledsoe was better than Brady when he was let go. Damien Woody was let go and replaced with a rookie. Ty Law and Lawyer Milloy was both let go and replaced with 4th round and undrafted rookies. I forgot who Koppen replaced but I surely know what round he came out of. Bertrand Berry was let go after recording 10 plus sacks. Delta O'Neil was let go as was Ian Gold. Mike Anderson was cut and they're putting Tatum Bell on the market. Everyone on that Denver D-line was replaced with Clevelands front line and they got better.
Trust me I'm not missing your point at all... I don't think you're getting my point. Ross out of BC in the 4th round would be a nice replacement for Bentley. I'm in favor of taking Mangold in the second but if we chose to go another route, that's my choice for a center in this draft. |

Our line has been crap because we've had at least 2 different starters each year for the past 4 years or so. No team ever got a great O-line by piecing it together in free agency. That's my point. Why go out and get a less talented player when we had one of the better ones in the league on our team already?? Would we have overpaid for him??? Probably. We overpaid for Horn and Howard last year. At least Bentley would have been more worth it.
We have too many other pressing issues that should be addressed in the draft. We didn't need to create another one by letting Bentley go. Instead of building up we are plugging holes. Now we will miss out on a good LB in round 2 because we didn't take care of Bentley. I am the only one who realizes that the team really fudged this one up???? What's done is done and we can't go back in the past, but we just let our best option go. |

I agree that Management really messed this one up, but it is a foregone conclusion that Bentley is out the door. We have to move forward with the franchise and attempt to fill his roster spot. Also, there are three real good, young LB available right now. Will Witherspoon seems like the most viable option, but you have to mention both Julian Peterson and Lavar Arrington. The latter two carry some injury concerns but both are tops at there position when healthy.
Papz is right about Patrick Ross being there in the 4th and think he could come in a do a good job. I just think we have some more needs at the present time. |

The Eagles are pulling a fast one, they're not really interested in Bentley or are they:
