You get no sympathy unless you can run a sub 4.4 40 or bench press 225 lbs 30+ times or vertical jump 40 + inches. What can I say that "All Men are Created Equal" is a crock. It's Darwinian theory, the smartest and most athletic of the human race have it easier than the rest of us. I personally don't have a problem with what athletes make. They have a skill set the rest of us don't have. So do actors that make $20 MM per film. So do brain surgeons. We are in a free market society that works on the principal of supply and demand. Athletes of professional ability are in short supply and extremely high demand, thus, the mulimillions and the ability to whine about not making enough.

Donte is a prime example of being one of the fastest men in football but until now has been a total bust, even bigger I think than Sullivan.

stockman i am so 100% with you. the players deserve to make what they do. to the people that scream about what teachers make, hey are you the same guys that talk about the score vince got on the wonderlic. yeah but hey our government should run our schools. seems like a good idea. be nice if they offered a couple of economic classes on the way. hey could we do away with teacher unions?

Cher, I always agreed with you until now. I am quite angry right now, because noway Stallworth is a bigger bust than Sully. Sully we wasted two 1st rounders on. Stallworth was an the other 1st in the Ricky trade I believe. But he always showed flasehs of what he can do, just haven't put it in a game to game basis yet. Sully hasn't really shown us sh**.

Hey Zach, don't be mad I am only comparing the skills I thought both came out of college with and I think that Donte had alot more talent than Sully.

Who cares if they run a 4.4 if I can find the drug to cure diabetes? Clearly the $400 Billion we spend each year on treating this condition is trivial compared to making the most expensive kneel down in history. I will defend the free market, but not this crap.

So how many of you posters here think that we pay the public school teachers too much so that we can afford to pay these louts? Or how about our brave military who make that last measure of sacrifice so that these numbskulls can pretend to "battle it out" every Sunday? Stockman? Cher? The relative value proposition you make is indefensable. Show me one of these guys who would walk away from the game if they were making one tenth the current salary. You can't because they would still make more than at Wendy's, where they'd be hard pressed to hold down a job. This kind of undeserving hero worshiping excess is how Rome, Greece, China, Germany and now the US fall from global domination into the despised and wretched embarrassment of history. Thanks a lot.
