John Clayton, of ESPN.com, reports free agent C LeCharles Bentley (Saints) turned down a chance to visit with the San Diego Chargers, presumably to visit the Philadelphia Eagles instead. The Eagles might be willing to pay $6 million a year to sign Bentley.

Now is this a smart thing to do at that price for a center/guard if that's his going rate?

If I'm going to sign a OL for 6 million dollars or more a year, he better be a hella good left tackle.... but that's just me. Now if we were playing with monopoly money, I'd shell out 6 mil for Bentley too.
