I think the obvious pick is to trade picks with the Jets and nail down the can't miss in D'Brick. Am I wrong on this? |

RE: Mario Williams
I thought Mario was strictly a DE. But hell, if he can play OLB, then I'd have to at least consider taking him. But if he is a DE, then there is absolutely NOOOOOO reason why we should draft him, THAT'S OUR STRONGEST POSITION!!!!!!!!! We should take Hawk or Brick, but if Mario is a backer, then it can't hurt to look right?

RE: Mario Williams
mario is a great player, but hawk would fill a much greater need.

No, you're not wrong. But this is my top 5 list, ranked based on talent.
1. Reggie Bush 2. D'Brickshaw Ferguson 3. Mario Williams 4. Matt Lienart 5. Vernon Davis take it for what it's worth. this is not a need ranking, simply a ranking on who i think has the most talent and upside. |

RE: Mario Williams
I think he is just too damned big to be a backer. They are saying he is more athletic than Peppers and granted that is hard to pass up, but we can't take him. Does anyone know when Charles Grant's contract is up? If it is up after this year that may be the reason for all of the Williams chatter.

RE: Mario Williams
I think the pick may be Williams as dumb as it sounds. There is no way we shell out the money to keep both Grant and Stallworth next year.
