So far, no coach has been able to corale Owens since he's been in the NFL. No team he's been with has been able to control him. Which makes you think that he is just flat out uncoachable.

Actually, TO isn't as undisciplined as you might think. What most confuse with him is his off-field antics and interviews reference his on-field ability. No doubt, he is one of the most dominating WR's in the game today and can play with anyone throwing to him. The guy makes bad teams better and decent teams, contenders. The main issue with him arose when he signed on with Drew Rosen-Mouth, who made promises about more money that he couldn't keep and had the guy sit out of training camp. I for one would LOVE to sign him on a 1 or 2 year deal and give Drew another target.

Imagine: Brees throwing, with Deuce in the back, and TO, Horn, Stallworth as your 1,2, & 3. Your O line issues would not be anywhere near as significant if you could throw that at a Defense!
THEN, use the draft to pick up some BADLY needed middle help (NT, MLB) and maybe a project CB.

lielung... you and I are both in the area that heard ALL the T.O. stories. He's not worth the distraction. You just signed the "face" of the team with Brees, do you want the new "face" to be T.O.? Because that's what will happen. All the news reports will be ABOUT HIM, all the questions to other players will be ABOUT HIM. Phily had multiple Pro-Bowl players and still they got bombarded with T.O. questions. NO T.O.!

BJSim... You solve that problem with a 1 or 2 yr deal. That way he KNOWS he's not a permanent franchise solution. Just pay him and he'll play. Its about winning games and being a contender, not winning some sort of imagined PR power struggle. The guy's a proven player and no denying it, one of the best in the game.

Just gimme some wins baby! I could care less about press conferences!

WR is NOT enough of a concern to bring in the trouble he'd cause. If we didn't have Horn, Stallworth, and Henderson then maybe. But we've got a good #1 & #2 tandem.
