Nate Burleson

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Brandon Lloyd is gone. He was traded to Washington. There are some interesting names on that list, though....

Randy Hymes is a sleeper. Reche Caldwell because he played with Brees in San Diego and was his #1 receiver 2 years ago before he was injured and they picked up McCardell. Jabar Gaffney and Antonio Chatman I'd also look at.

RE: Nate Burleson

I was thinking the same thing with Caldwell. He is the possession reciever we would need at #3. Brees knows him well, and he could be wooed to N.O. that way.

RE: Nate Burleson

Good pick D_it_up2... he would be that tall redzone receiver we need. He or Burleson would make very nice pickups.

I would love to have T.O. I know he's got a big mouth, but he shows up every Sunday. Offer him a 1-2 year deal w/ a "Keep your mouth shut" clause & could you imagine: Owens, Horn, Stallworth, & Hilton w/ Brees getting them the ball. No secondary could contend w/ that!
