draft order...........
ok, here's the thing.......while the saints have put a monkey wrench in the order for now, who's to say the texan's won't do the same? by trading out of the first spot, there could really be some wheeling and dealing going on......i just read on kffl that the jets have or or trying to get ramsey.....now, this may be a back up, but he does have nfl experience.......
kinda makes me wonder who at the bottom of the barrel is gonna come forth and throw more wrenches in this draft.........i would not be surprised to see dallas try and move up either. smitty |
RE: draft order...........
Let's play a game. I'll call it, "Name the Trading Partner"- who do you think will buck up and present the best trade scenario to the Saints for the 2nd overall pick.
My vote goes to................Arizona |

is that your pick because they have the most money to spend? i like the idea of getting more draft picks now, a little bit down, even a lot more down because of depth and need........arizona could easily go to the #1 with a trade also........ so, because of this, i'll say anyone but arizona........just to pee you off.................smitty |
RE: Re: RE: draft order...........
lol, thanks
i picked Arizona, because they have a need, and it does help that they have some money to play with. |

Oakland or Arizona

it has to be someone who wants leinart i believe.
packers have a future qb and zona has to win now with warner n james. swap with the jets is easiest cuz of the lesser compensation needed to move up 2 spots and the high impact player that would still be available to NO. ditto titans if they wanna guarantee leinart from a jet leapfrog. below that, i think oakland or detroit are the most likely suitors that could come to a deal. oakland has a history of bold moves. #7 and #38 would get them close. throw in a player and maybe it could work. remember andrew walter from last year? he is the same reason it seems less likely, already committed to a 2nd rounder for the future. is it just me, or does that organization seem in more disarray every season? the word is that harrington is as good as gone in detroit. kitna is there, is perfectly competent, and has no beef with mentoring someone behind him. i dunno who i would want in addition to their #9 and 40. maybe a 2007 first. biggest detriment to this deal happening- pressure on millen to win this season or he is gone. |
