Saints Best Player
Ok,
It's a joke. I didn't read the article since I'm not an ESPN insider, but the headline QB Brooks visits Bucs made me chuckle. I doubt he'd let himself be a backup so I doubt he'd sign with them, and I don't think they are stupid, but... Wouldn't it be priceless if for some reason (Sims/Griese Injured), he was starting for the bucs when we played them? He'd be our secret weapon! Do you think he'd throw any backward passes for them? |
RE: Saints Best Player
You have to remember that Brooks gave the Bucs brain damage for years. Brook isn't as bad as many people make him out to be. He could excel in the Bucs offense.

He would do himself a lot of favors by either talking to the Raiders or Arizona. The Raiders will probably want to throw the ball a mile every time and Denny Green is a genius at getting above average results from below average players. |
RE: Re: RE: Saints Best Player
agreed. it took Simms 2 years to grasp Gruden's playbook. that's equal to about 10 for Aaron....

RE: Re: RE: Saints Best Player
Hey, six years and he ALMOST had half the playbook.... maybe ten years was being nice.

RE: Re: RE: Saints Best Player
forever, brooks will not be any better anywhere else. he won't get a starting job and if he is pushed into one i hope that team play us. if he does sgin with tampa and simms gets hurt i hope we play them twice after. that will be fun

RE: Re: RE: Saints Best Player
Could you imagine the look on Chucky's face while trying to explain the playbook to Aaron? :bang:
HAHAHAHA! |
