Jets | Ramsey acquired for 2006 draft pick
Fri, 17 Mar 2006 12:03:54 -0800

Len Pasquarelli, of ESPN.com, reports the Washington Redskins have traded QB Patrick Ramsey to the New York Jets for a 2006 sixth-round pick.
Strange, I didn't think the Redskins were ever going to come off of their 2nd rounder demand. I wonder what the Jets are thinking for next season? I wonder if they're still in the market for Leinart?

Listening to some talk shows up here, they may still be interesed in getting a qb in the draft but it doesn't look like they'll be trading up to get one at the moment. The general opinion up here is that they like Cutler and may still take him at 4, but the chances of them trading up to get Leinart is next to none. They like Brick and Mario Williams, so more likely they'll take one of those two guys at 4.

i think matt is looking at the titans right now who will stay at 3 and wait to get him. i still think we can trade down. maybe there are some teams looking to get some other guys. i see this in my mind though. there are going to be some qb's dropping pretty far down the list. you have the raiders at 7 and then the cards are at what 10 or 11. that isn't exaclt where these guys were suppose to go. i think that chow will want his boy at the third pick. they would be crazy not to. he can ride the pine for a year or two and get some good knowledge on the game. if the raiders don't take vince at 7 i wonder how far he is going to drop? any idea's

Your team stinks

So we take D'brick. That would be an excellent pick and the guy has the personna that will be great in the locker room. Of course with no trading down, we wil have to get a veteran C, CB and another LB in free agency. Anybody that thinks that you can start a rookie center and tackle is and not get your QB killed is NUTS!!!!!
