RE: Anthony Simmons
no, he was injured all last season, but he's a pretty good linebacker when healthy- i think one year he had like 142 tackles, 4 sacks, and an interception.

RE: Anthony Simmons
He missed last year with a broken wrist. He is a monster at mlb he has good size and speed. Instantly our best lb in my opinion and he is good in coverage. Nice signing

I hope this isn't our answer for a LB. What has this guy done lately?

You think we're going to get Hawk instead of D'Brick. I'm also hearing Mario Williams which I don't understand.

RE: Anthony Simmons
This is a very good pickup. He's a solid tackler with good size and speed. Think back to those games we opened up with Seattle and the kicked our buts. He played and played well.

i'm sure the FO has done DD on the guy. He was a first round pick, very solid. injuries have just been the story. Him at 75% or making 75% of the season will be a definite upgrade. welcome aboard sir anthony.
besides the open checkbook there has to be some momentum to FA signings. Good buzz about Payton's program and something fresh starting down here that a lot of players wat to be a part of. |

I think it's either Brick or Hawk at this point with the possibility of a trade down with Oakland or Denver. I know everyone's thinking why Denver, well the snake hasn't gotten them to the game yet and Denver may surprise everyone by going after Leinart. He fits the John Elway mold, period.
