2nd Round Mock picks
Whether picking at #2 or 4 the consensus around here would be that D'brick, Hawk, or Super Mario are the top choices.
Mock Drafts and draft sites have become a cottage industry. Picking the top 10 muchless top rounds is an educated guess at best. I have to admit I love looking at them though. The first 10 I scanned that had multiple rounds I list here the 2nd Round picks. For your viewing pleasure and commentary: Jonathan Joseph, CB, SC Kelly Jennings, CB, Mia Gabe Watson, DT, Mich DeMeco Ryans, LB, Ala Sinorce Moss, WR, Mia Mercedes Lewis, TE, UCLA D'Qwell Jackson, LB, Maryland Gabe Watson, DT, Mich Bobby Carpenter, LB, Oh St Antonio Cromartie, CB, Fl St |

RE: 2nd Round Mock picks
The knock I've heard on Watson is that he's lazy.
Of these guys, I think Carpenter is a great pick. If Hawk wasn't coming out this year, I think we'd all be buzzing on Carpenter. If there in round 2 I'd pull the trigger on him with no reservations. Lewis could be really great. I'm not sure what I think since we already have a couple of young talents at the position. I'd like to see what they have first? TE is kind of a luxury pick for me in this draft. |

Bobby Carpenter if he's there in the 2nd. Though, word is New England's got a hard on for him in the 1st. Abdul Hodge, D'Qwell Jackson, or Ernie Simms would be good LB's as well. If your going to go DT, stay away from Watson. He didn't show me squat in the big games this year & he looks to take off on plays. Claude "Maui Wowee" Wroten, Kyle Williams, Orien Harris, or Brodick Buntley would be much safer choices at the position.

I'll take Leonard Pope. Can you imagine having two six-foot seven tightends?

I don't think Demeco Ryans will be there either, nor Mercedes Lewis. But the rest of that list is pretty interesting.
My top (realistic) two: OC, Nick Mangold (seriously, WE DON'T HAVE A CENTER, and it's kind of important that we have somebody to snap it to, and protect, our new $60 million investment) MLB, D'Qwell Jackson (the guy that Jackson reminds me most of is Ray Lewis. I watched their last game of the season and he was a beast. He's supposedly very strong, and perhaps his biggest asset is his emotional leadership. This is what Kiper says about him:
