Retirement... nah... never...
On the subject of OLines and QBs, obviously they're related. As with most things in football, only the truly greats can get by without a good deal of support from the trenches. I suppose, that is a simple truism; my point is that we'd have to dig a bit deeper to say much about the relation between Olines and QBs than has been done here. Perhaps a new thread? I'd be interested in the results of such a discussion. On the subject of coaching and Olines, of course coaching matters. Just look at Denver's track record. Take any old guy and slot him in there, there is some success. Does this mean that it is all schemes and coaching? That is too simple a hypothesis. Again, it plays a critical role, but how critical? O-Linement are ranked in the draft based on how well they can play, so, I infer, there must be more to it than mere coaching. On the subject of top notch enforcers, I say "YAY". Cheers, J. |

Actually....we may never forget Brooks. Really lets face it......whenever the subject of post-season success comes into play....Brooks will always be there. As much as you hate him...he is a part of our history now.

C'mon whodi. Lets be real. Picture this....
Trivial Pursiuit....Saints edition.....question....Who was the Saints QB the night of their first post-season victory? Answer.... I'm not defending the guy Whodi but lets face it.....he has definitely etched his name into the franchise whether you like it or not. |

As far as his name being etched in anything, I have this wonderful ability to block out whatever I don't wanna see, and the last 6 years have definitely been a blur. So, Aaron who? If I ever got that question in Trivial Pursuit, i'd pass and go play dominoes. |

Me personally, I feel like I have been paying with my blood for the last 5 years for one tiny notch on the headboard, and it hasn't been worth it. The Cardinals are more pathetic than us and they get more respect than we do. I can't stand it.
