MIKE MCKENZIE UNHAPPY WITH PLAYER RATING IN MADDEN 2005
New Orleans Saints cornerback Mike McKenzie returned his copy of Madden NFL 2005 today, only one week after buying the popular video game. McKenzie, who was playing the game last weekend against teammate Aaron Brooks, was upset after he checked his own player rating. "He felt pretty disrespected when he saw he was rated a 78 overall," said Brooks. "He kept rambling on about how there was a glitch in the game or something. But when he scrolled down and saw he was only a 72 in agility, he just lost it. He asked me set out pylons so he could show off his cutting ability, then he challenged me to a foot race in the street to prove he's faster than an 81."
Saints running back Deuce McAllister said he understands McKenzie's frustration. "Mike has a right to be upset. I was playing the video game with the Saints last night, and noticed that Madden didn't even get his dread locks right. They look more like long pieces of ****. Plus they don't have him doing a dance every time he makes a tackle. And this game is supposed to be realistic?" Aaron Brooks reports that before McKenzie returned the game, he tried to trade himself to the Eagles for Lito Sheppard, but the game rejected the transaction. |
Rest In Peace JoeSam, thanks for everything my friend.

Here's one even funnier. I played the ESPN 2005 game the other day for the 1st time (I'm a Madden 2005 kinda' guy) & have to admit that it was the most realistic game I've ever played. Brooks averaged about 3-4 interceptions & 2-3 fumbles a game when I used the Saints. Deuce got hurt every other game & none of the LB's on the team could tackle. It was hilarious, my buddy used Indy & Edgerrin James would break like 3 tackles in a row off my LB's. It was exactly like our team played in real life! I used New England next & had no turnovers & kicked his A**!!!!

ghandi you are not kidding i had the same pronblem with brooks. bro there were times he threw it to noone but the defender. i was like jesus could you be a little less acurate in your description of a player. bro i cleaned house after the first season and had 10 draft picks which was the most they would let you. i drafted a qb in the first round at like 7. had like an 81 rating out of the box. 2nd qb taken in the draft. i will let you know how it works out
