Hmm, the Lions don\'t want to trade for the Patriots 2 first round picks (which are better than ours) and their second round pick. What would it take for the Saints to get the pick? I don\'t buy that rumor.

The Pats have supposedly offered there two #1\'s and a two for this spot ,what must we be offering? Is Robertson this good? Is anybody? This is getting crazy for the Saints sake I hope New England is more nuts than we are.

Chris Mortenson says the same thing. Detroit was asking The Patriots for the 2 first rounders, the second rounder AND the third rounder. The Saints wouldn\'t do that...would they?

The jets could come to our aid, They still want Robertson and would be a much more attractive trade partner for Detroit as they could still get a top reciver if they only move down two spots. I\'m rooting for New England or New York to save us from ourselves on this one.

Trading two first round picks (in the same draft) is totally different than trading the lions share of two drafts. I won\'t be upset if they use both 1\'s to trade up because the draft is weak after the top ten but I would be pissed if we had a one pick draft. That won\'t happen again!

Rarely is a player worth two first round picks and you almost NEVER know if he is at the time you actually have to pull the trigger on the trade. Do you remember all of the questions about Vick? He\'ll be the best player out of his class... as compared to Ryan Leaf, who was supposedly going to be so much better than Manning. Point is, drafting is a crapshoot... more picks is ALWAYS better than less, in my mind, b/c it means you have a much better chance of getting players who will pan out for you.
