Demetric Evans Visited the Saints Monday
a DE? played a lot for Washington last year. Does that say anything about drafting Mario Williams or not?
One blurb in the Washington Post said, "The Redskins have long sought to re-sign unrestricted free agent safety Ryan Clark, defensive lineman Demetric Evans and tight end Robert Royal as well, but their ability to do so now would be complicated without an extension." |

All we have at end is Charles Grant and Will Smith... so another cheap player would be smart.
Has connections to Dallas and Washington and has started before. http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/237100 |

I like Tony Bryant as a role player still on the roster. Jimmy Verdon is still around too. I'm for upgrades anywhere though.

I haven't seen anything to think Bryant is NOT on the roster, have you? Did you mean Oakland where he played before?
My question was we have 4 DEs on the roster already, Smith, Grant, Bryant, and Verdon. Evans played in 16 games and started 3 last year for the Skins. He is more than a camp body. I was just wondering if that indicated solidifying the position and dimishing the likelihood of selecting Williams. I recognize the ability of Super Mario but we have already been dealing with having 3 starting caliber DE's for a couple of years already. I do not think his talent level is so far beyond D'Brick or Hawk that he must be taken as the BPA. |
