Could Batch be our back-up QB?
NFL | Batch to Draw Interest from Others - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com) 7:21 PT: Mlive.com reports former Detroit Lions QB Charlie Batch, now an unrestricted free agent, will have several teams – including the Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos and New Orleans Saints – interested in him. We don't have a backup right now. Don't start with the Delhomme thing, please. [Edited on 9/6/2002 by Halo] |

Could Batch be our back-up QB?
I hope we never see Chuck Im hurt again Batch in the Black & Gold. We should have held on to Blake! Batch is an injury prone looser.

I wish we could have kept Blake also, but he was too costly for a second strink QB. I would be very pleased if Batch came. He doesn\'t have to stay healthy, all he has to do is play backup if Aaron get\'s hurt. I\'m telling everybody- Jake Delhomme is not and will not be our starter and that\'s the end of that.

Could Batch be our back-up QB?
Get REAL! Delhomme IS, and will be, our 2nd string. Why would you want a used up Batch when you have an up and comming Delhomme. Look at his stats and his history. No, Delhomme does not have the NFL starting experience, but neither did Brooks. Delhomme is a great backup and may see some action this year if Brooks continues to slide. If Delhomme is so bad, why are other teams showing interest?? :casstet:

What teams are showing interest? He signed a base salary with the Saints after there were no takers- and I mean he waited until the last minute. He is not a high demand product for a reason. :casstet:

Could Batch be our back-up QB?
Updating an earlier story, the Post Gazette reports the New Orleans Saints have a visit scheduled with free agent QB Charlie Batch (Lions) next Tuesday . However, that might be canceled as Batch would like to have a deal in hand by then.
