The fourth-rounder isn't much, but the snag in talks comes when negotiating a contract with the wide receiver.
Proven WR and would be an outstanding siging... will never happen though. |

He's asking for too much $$ To old and too slow. He's way past his prime and no longer the threat he used to be.

Football is a young man's game. I'd rather see us pass on Moulds. He's going to ask for far too much money and where do you play him? Is he going to replace the one true speed receiver you have or is he going to replace Joe Horn? We're ok in the top three receiver positions on the team...Horn, Stallworth, and Henderson are lock solid. Are they the best trio in the game? No, they aren't. I'd like to see us get a good look at Chase Lyman if he's healthy and maybe draft a WR in the 4th round...the same pick you'd give up for an aging Moulds. There should be reasonably good talent left on the board at that point. We can also look at the some FA WRs still available for the 5th spot. Some interesting players are still available:
Kevin Curtis, Chris Horn, Shaun McDonald, Reggie Swinton, Willie Ponder, Dez White, Randal Williams, Kelley Washington, Bobby Wade, and Peerless Price to name a few. |

i wouldn't mind moulds but the price won't be right so let him go to someone who will over pay

He's still under contract for two years which means reworking the contract and a fourth???
