RE: What about a kicker?

Todd Peterson, Aaron Elling, and Jose Cortez are the only remaining unrestricted free agents. I think Carney is going to stick around another year.

What about Conner Hughes at least I think that is his name. Some mocks have us drafting him in the late rounds is he worth a draft pick I don't know much about him

RE: What about a kicker?

I'm praying that the Saints are looking another direction for a kicker myself. Carney has to go. I'm hoping they are seeing something in a young college kicker that maybe we don't see. I mean, how often do you hear about kickers coming out of college anyways.

There was another guy on here who used to make kicker threads and defend Brooks. Maybe it's just coincidence.

Here's some info on Connor and I've had this guy in my draft this year:

Connor Hughes
Virginia
Senior
5-10, 172

WORTH NOTING: A leading candidate for the Lou Groza Award as the nation's best kicker ... preseason All-American ... one of the top returning kickers in the country ... second among returnees in field goals made (45) and third in percentage made (.818) ... second in UVa history in field goals made and field goal percentage (.818), and fourth in points (233) ... 19th in ACC history in career field goals and tied for 28th in career points ... owns four of the 11 50-yard field goals in school history ...is the only kicker with more than two ... his 17 field goals in 2004 are tied for fourth in school history ... holds the record with 23 in 2003 ... second in UVa history with 109 points in 2003 ... his 93 points last season are eighth all-time.

No problem D, this guy seems to be a good one and I think he would be worth at least the additional 7th rounder we received.
