BILLS A PRIME CANDIDATE FOR L.A?

In response to our story regarding the possible candidates for a move to Los Angeles, one league source has advised us that he believes the Buffalo Bills are a prime candidate to ultimately fill the market that was vacated more than a decade ago by the Raiders and the Rams.

It doesn't make sense to me to take a KC or Buffalo team away from their fans who support their team like no other, I bet my money that Chiefs do better in the long run in KC compared to L.A, the Saints ,well you guys know where I stand with them, leave our team alone.
The NFL needs to add two new teams instead of trying to take other teams away from their state.

Exactly LTF....Add them in LA and San Antonio so it narrows options of places the Saints could be relocated

It's really amazing to think that LA couldn't hold a team, but they can't! IMO they'd be ripe to lose a team again 10 yrs after they get one. If it don't say LAKERS on the front, it's a cool thing to be into every once in awhile...but not die hard. I mean, the two teams they lost had some of the best history in the NFL, but, then again...it was a history of moving...ironic

There are 2 NBA teams, 1 MLB team, 2 storied college sports teams, 1 proffesional soccer team, thousands of struggling actors, and to top it off the worst traffic jams anywhere. I don't think they NEED and NFL team, and I don't think the NFL needs them. Over the past 5-10 years the NFL has become Americas Favorite Sport, and that was without an NFL team in L.A.

L.A spends their money and time on their beloved Lakers, an NFL team would be their second choice to watch and that will not be enough to support an NFL team.

But, an NFL team would be the next logical step for them as a company. it would be a luxury. They could expand by 2 more teams (with more than enough fan base and potential to cover the expansion), watch one get pretty settled in and gather a following (SA or, yes, I said it....Toronto, Canada), and then watch a franchise in LA succeed no matter what. If it sticks, it has a huge fan pool to draw from, if not, it has had about 10 years to mature in the limelight of the 2nd largest TV market in the US. Not a bad business plan for the random investor that "just thought it was time to do it for the fans, and get a team in LA".

It's all about TV revenue. If LA had a team, TV revenues would increase to much that they wouldn't even have to sell a ticket and the league would still make money. Of course you would have to throw revenue sharing out the window.

No team is moving to LA. Each owner stands to make about 30 million selling a franchise and if they add two... well you do the math.

Exactly. expansion is the step to expect. two teams...one in LA (tons of free cash for owners...maybe even adding some juice to their side at the next CBA) and one in a new market to help make growth stretch beyond the borders.
