I hope that he's not traded, I think (IMO) he improved some last year, he's a deep threat, unless we get another good WR I say keep him.
I thought Horn would be traded before Stallworth due to Horn's age, I guess not, I would like to see the two of them stick around being we have Brees, they both should improve their game. |

I agree, LTF. I think Stallworth made a vast improvement last year and stayed healthy despite a poor season from the QB position. I can understand why Horn would not be mentioned in trade talks considering his age, but it floors me that Stallworth is even mentioned. Unless they've seen something in Chris Horn and expecting Devery Henderson to step up, then I could understand them dangling him, because Donte carries the highest trade value of any of the receivers. I just sure hope it doesn't happen.

I hope Stallworth stays b/c he has made lots of strides from when we first got him. I still think he can be a great #2 if not eventually a #1 reciever.
Still, he is in his contract year, gonna want serious cash (after not having yet proven he's a number 1) and decided he absolutely had to have an audience with some cops recently. If we can get some team to give up a nice haul, I say go for it. But only if we get a TON for kid...I really like having him line up for us. |

Tell me this is not true!
What the heck would name be, the artist formerly know as Stallworthfn? There would have to be some serious compensation coming our way. I can't see it happening unless they are thinking they can get a J. Walker from GB? Counting on Henderson after the year Stall had last is hoping for a lot I.M.O. He looks to be on the verge of a breakout year and I would hate to lose him and watch him succeed elsewhere. |

Well if he is traded, it will because the current coaching staff doesn't like his pass catching skills. He has dropped quite a few balls his first few years in the league...perhaps Brees' softball may be more catchable than Brooks' fast balls. Perhaps Brees will be more accurate but rest assured if he is traded, we will get something decent in return. I personally don't want to see him traded. He's rebounded pretty good after he got his clock cleaned in this rookie season.

i think on some of those drops, donte heard imaginary footsteps......maybe he could break out or maybe he's just not what the new coaching staff is looking for, maybe a combo...... i hope they get something for him if he's traded..........smitty |

I'm mean be real about this guys. He was picked 13th overall in the 2002 draft, and whether you like him or not or how much he's "improved" he's still been a big disappointment. I would not trade him for basically nothing, but if they get a decent deal for him like a 3rd rounder, then I'd say do it.

3rd rounder? Kind of undervaluing just a bit huh? He's still only 25 and could 70 balls last season. He was 55 yards away from his first thousand year season. This was virtually his first full season w/o any type of hamstring set backs. If he's not traded, I expect to see him easily go over the thousand yard mark. Finally he has someone to get him the ball... he'll still have his drops, but he should get to that next level soon IMO.
